A ticket to a regular season New England Patriots game can easily run over $100.  But for Belchertown resident Robert Krafchuk, not only did he get into the game for free, he was paid to be there.  After 4 years of trying, Krafchuk finally scored a part-time job working security at Gillette Stadium where he enjoyed watching his favorite football team make their way to their 7th Super Bowl, which will take place on Sunday in Indianapolis.  

Community Mourns Loss Of 25 Year Veteran Of Belchertown Public Schools
Swift River Elementary School Physical Education teacher Marilyn Higgins passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.  In her memory, the Cold Spring Swift River PTO have posted a dedication to Higgins on their website.  The PTO will also be dedicating their annual Family Fun 5K Run/Walk to Higgins.
